WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossilized resin, originating from conifers in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Thus, contrary to what the name suggests, amber is fossilized resin and not a stone. It is light, not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.

WHICH SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you prefer, you can cut a string to the desired length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads may become slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger over time.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Furthermore, each bead is individually knotted, which prevents beads from coming loose during a break, which your child could swallow. Super convenient! The amber necklace fastens easily with a screw clasp.

SAFETY

General safety regulation: "Children under three years of age should not wear jewellery without adult supervision. Because it contains small parts." This also applies to wearing amber necklaces.
