WHAT IS AMBER?
Baltic amber is fossilized resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber is therefore, contrary to what its name suggests, petrified resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Are you unsure about the size of the necklace? Cut a piece of string to the relevant lengths (45cm and 64cm) and try it on to see what you like. Note: by wearing the amber jewelry, the knots between the beads may become slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to lengthen slightly over time.
HANDMADE
The amber bracelets are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Additionally, each bead is individually knotted, which prevents beads from coming loose if the bracelet breaks. The amber bracelet closes easily with a screw clasp.
