WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossilised resin, originating from coniferous trees in Scandinavia, approximately 44 million years old. Unlike its name suggests, amber is petrified resin and not a stone. It is light, not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then opt for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the desired length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads may become slightly tighter, making the necklace or bracelet slightly larger.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Additionally, each bead is individually knotted, which prevents beads from coming loose during a break, which your child could swallow. Super nice! The amber necklace easily closes with a twist clasp.
