WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossilised resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber is, contrary to what the name suggests, petrified resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold and feels nice on the skin.

WHICH SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the relevant length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads can be pulled a little tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Furthermore, each bead is individually knotted, which prevents beads from coming loose if the necklace breaks, which your child could swallow. Super nice!
