Amber Kids Necklace 38 cm - Olive

The beloved amber necklaces. Did you know that amber necklaces are not only very cute but also have a great function? Amber, or amber, has a pain-relieving effect when teeth are coming in. This is due to the succinic acid, which is released by the warmth of the skin. Great for when your son or daughter is teething.

WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossil resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber is therefore, contrary to what its name suggests, petrified resin and not stone. It is light and not cold and feels pleasant on the skin.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to and including the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice because it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the relevant length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads can be pulled slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger over time.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are made in such a way that they break for safety in case of too much pressure. Also, each stone is individually knotted, which prevents stones from coming loose during a break, which your child could swallow. Super nice! The amber necklace closes easily with a screw clasp.

SAFETY

General safety regulation: "Children under three years of age should not wear jewellery without adult supervision. Because it contains small parts." This also applies to wearing amber necklaces.
