Please note: amber is a natural product; each bead is unique in shape and size. The stated length of the jewellery is therefore approximate. It is also possible that the colour may differ from the photo.
WHAT IS AMBER?
Baltic amber is fossilised resin, originating from coniferous trees in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber is therefore, contrary to what the name suggests, petrified resin and not stone. It is light, not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Are you unsure about the size of the bracelet? Cut a string to the desired length (19cm) and try it on. Is the bracelet too big? Then the length of the children's bracelet (16.5cm) might be the right size. Please note: due to wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads may tighten slightly, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly longer over time.
HANDMADE
The amber bracelets are handmade in Lithuania. Each stone is individually knotted, and the bracelet closes easily with a screw clasp.
