WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossilized resin, originating from conifers in the Scandinavian region dating back approximately 44 million years. So, contrary to what the name suggests, amber is petrified resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold and feels pleasant on the skin.

GEMSTONES

Gemstones come in the most beautiful colors, but each also has its own effect. For example, rose quartz provides protection against radiation, promotes better sleep, and boosts self-confidence. Amethyst is a friend for little worriers and helps with sore throats, coughs, stomach aches, and headaches. Moonstone is the stone of hope and strengthens feminine qualities. And Turquoise protects and helps against fear and tension, for example.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then look at the children's necklaces of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice because it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the relevant length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewelry, the knots between the beads can tighten slightly, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger over time.

The necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break safely under too much pressure. Additionally, each stone is individually knotted, which prevents stones from coming loose during a break and being swallowed by your child. Super nice! The amber necklace closes easily with a screw clasp.
