KAPOK
Kapok is a natural and organic fiber harvested from seed pods on trees that grow wild in tropical forests. The fiber has many valuable properties that are perfect for sensitive babies, people with allergies, and the environment. It is more breathable than all other natural fibers because it has a hollow core and consists of 80% air, making it about 8 times lighter than cotton. The fibers are covered with a thin layer of wax that repels insects and dust mites; therefore, no pesticides are used in its production.
We recommend airing the nursing pillow with kapok from time to time to maintain the quality of the fibers. Remove all kapok filling before washing the cover.
