Product Description

No more cold feet for your baby with these lovely Hvid booties made from merino wool! The booties have an ideal fit, even for the smallest ones, because they have a true heel shape. Thanks to the tie you can knot or bow, the Hvid booties will stay securely on your little one's feet. Hvid booties are available in the most beautiful colors and come in two sizes: 0-9 months and 9-15 months.

Due to the baby's foot movement, pilling will occur initially. This pilling stops after multiple wears.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Wool is self-cleaning, so the booties don't need to be washed often. If one of the booties has a stain, the easiest and best way to clean it is to spot clean. Wool also likes being hung outside overnight or in a damp bathroom, as it will smell fresh again! Still need a wash? Then hand wash the booties. Use a small amount of wool detergent and lukewarm (not cold!) water at a maximum of 30ºC. Avoid squeezing, wringing, and rubbing, and gently press the water out of the wool between your hands or with a towel. Drying flat gives the best result, as wool shapes itself as it dries.

Washing instructions

Please note: This item does not need to be washed before first use. After the knitting process, the material has already been carefully cleaned. In addition, wool is naturally self-cleaning, which means it generally does not need to be washed often. Simply airing it outside overnight or hanging it in a humid bathroom is often enough to restore its fresh scent. If the item has a stain, you can easily spot-clean it with a small amount of gall soap (do not use regular stain remover, as it can damage the wool fibers).

If the item needs to be washed, hand washing only is recommended. Gently move the item through lukewarm water (maximum 20°C / 68°F) without rubbing or wringing it. Make sure the water remains at the same temperature throughout the process. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently press out excess water with a towel, reshape the item, and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).

If you choose to wash the item in a washing machine, you do so at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the individual programme settings of washing machines. Wash the item on a wool cycle (do not use the hand wash or delicate cycle) at a maximum temperature of 20°C / 68°F. Select a low spin speed, preferably no higher than 400 rpm. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently reshape the item and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).

This item was washed during the production process for quality control purposes and to ensure that it retains its correct shape. Any shrinkage that occurs afterwards is the result of an incorrect washing programme (for example, using a hand wash or delicate cycle instead of a wool cycle), the use of an unsuitable detergent (too harsh or not specifically designed for wool), a washing temperature that is too high, or an excessively high spin speed.
