Instead of making me happy, it caused me enormous choice stress. Moreover, it didn't fit the warm, embracing picture I had in mind for our baby. When I asked if there were any pushchairs that weren't made of polyester, I was given strange looks. It wasn't at all the experience I had hoped for. The beautiful pushchairs from the family business Naturkind are among the most sustainable and ecologically responsible pushchairs available. Naturkind is the only GOTS-certified manufacturer of pushchairs—how cool is that?! Only high-quality materials (mostly natural) that are safe for babies are used. The pushchairs have an aluminium frame (instead of plastic) and a cork-covered handlebar. Light wood is used to reinforce the back and seat sections, and the carrycot comes with a coconut-latex mattress. The pushchair upholstery is made of organic cotton, and organic virgin wool is used for the lining. There is also the option to order the pushchair in a vegan version (one colour per model is available in a vegan version).

Carrycot or soft carrycot?

The pushchair with a seat (the basic model) is suitable from the moment a child can sit independently (usually between 6 and 9 months). Before that period, you need a carrycot or a soft carrycot in which your little one can lie down and be transported safely and comfortably. The carrycot clicks into the chassis of the pushchair (instead of the seat), while the soft carrycot slides into the seat of the basic model. The carrycot is spacious and sturdy; the soft carrycot is more compact and much lighter, making it easier to remove (and also to use separately). The soft carrycot can also be converted into a footmuff at a later stage.

Delivery time and shipping costs

Delivery only possible within the EU. The delivery time for Naturkind pushchairs is between 6 and 10 weeks. Are you due soon? We can always check if a pushchair is already in stock for you; in this case, please send an email to klantenservice[a]ziloen.nl The pushchairs are produced on demand and shipped directly from Naturkind (Austria). Orders with a value over 100 euros are shipped free of charge by Naturkind. The pushchair will be delivered to your door in two large boxes.
