In 'Kijk mijn letter' all letters are playfully presented, not in alphabetical order, but simply at random. The short texts are full of rhythm, rhyme and repetition, making the book accessible for the beginning reader.
Ingrid and Dieter Schubert's cheerful illustrations add an extra dimension to the letters, challenging your child to think about them. For example, you see a gnome sitting at a K-shaped table, drinking water with a K-shaped straw, and his belt is also decorated with small K's. But the bird sitting with him is not a chicken, but a sparrow! Common letter combinations such as 'ou', 'eu' and 'ie' are also covered.
A nice book to discover the world of letters.
