An old woman fancies an apple bundt cake, but she only has plums. She decides to set off with a basket full of delicious plums, because, she thought to herself, it's quite possible I'll find somewhere that does have apples. Soon she meets someone who would love to have her plums and wants to trade with her, but doesn't have any apples. 'Oh well, I always say,' said the old woman, 'it's better to have one person happy than two people disappointed.' And so begins the adventure of the old woman who eventually, through continuous bartering, manages to get apples. After a long day, she arrives home just early enough to bake a delicious apple bundt cake before dinner!
