Book of the month!
It's almost Christmas. All over the city, people are in the Christmas spirit, with light and warmth radiating from behind windows. Except in one house: the girl's house. Her father is too busy to decorate the house and put up a Christmas tree.
As the girl wanders through the city, a snowstorm brews. And in the middle of that white world, a figure suddenly appears: an elk, which takes the girl to the winter forest. There, among all the tall trees, stands a small fir tree, like a Christmas tree without decorations.
Suddenly, the girl has a brilliant idea. Together with the elk, she searches for the most beautiful treasures from the forest to decorate the tree. More and more forest animals help out. Berries, twigs, pinecones, leaves, even icicles form the most beautiful Christmas decorations imaginable! Now only her father is missing...
In her unmistakable ethereal colours, through which the northern lights of her home in Norway shimmer, Linde Faas paints a heartwarming Christmas story.
