WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wool is self-cleaning, so you don't need to wash wool clothing often. If the clothes have a stain, it's easiest and best to clean it locally. Wool also loves to hang outside overnight or in a humid bathroom, making it smell fresh again! Still need a wash? Hand wash the woolens. Use a small amount of wool detergent and lukewarm (not cold) water of a maximum of 30ºC. Avoid squeezing, wringing, and rubbing, and gently press the water out of the clothing between your hands or a towel. Drying flat gives the best result, as wool shapes itself as it dries.

Please note: This item does not need to be washed before first use. After the knitting process, the material has already been carefully cleaned. In addition, wool is naturally self-cleaning, which means it generally does not need to be washed often. Simply airing it outside overnight or hanging it in a humid bathroom is often enough to restore its fresh scent. If the item has a stain, you can easily spot-clean it with a small amount of gall soap (do not use regular stain remover, as it can damage the wool fibers).
If the item needs to be washed, hand washing only is recommended. Gently move the item through lukewarm water (maximum 30°C / 86°F) without rubbing or wringing it. Make sure the water remains at the same temperature throughout the process, so do not rinse with cold water afterwards. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently press out excess water with a towel, reshape the item, and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).
If you choose to wash the item in a washing machine, you do so at your own risk, as we cannot guarantee the individual programme settings of washing machines. Wash the item on a wool cycle (do not use the hand wash or delicate cycle) at a maximum temperature of 30°C / 86°F. Select a low spin speed, preferably no higher than 400 rpm. Use a mild, natural wool detergent and do not use fabric softener. After washing, gently reshape the item and leave it to dry flat (do not dry it on a radiator or in a tumble dryer).
