WHAT IS AMBER?
Baltic amber is fossilised resin, originating from conifers in the Scandinavian region about 44 million years old. Unlike what the name suggests, amber is petrified resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Are you unsure about the size of the bracelet? Cut a string to the relevant length (19cm) and try it on. Is the bracelet too big? Then the length of the children's bracelet (16.5cm) might be the right size. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads can be pulled slightly tighter, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly longer over time.
HANDMADE
The amber bracelets are handmade in Lithuania. Each stone is individually knotted, and the bracelet closes easily with a screw clasp.
