WHAT IS AMBER?

Baltic amber is fossilised resin, from conifers in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber, contrary to what the name suggests, is petrified resin and not a stone. It is light and not cold and feels pleasant on the skin.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice because it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the desired length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewellery, the knots between the beads can become slightly tighter, making the necklace or bracelet slightly larger over time.

HANDMADE

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break safely under too much pressure. Also, each bead is individually knotted, which prevents beads from coming loose during a breakage, which your child could swallow. Super nice! The amber necklace closes easily with a screw clasp.
