Baltic amber is fossilized resin, originating from conifers in the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. Amber, contrary to what the name suggests, is petrified resin and not stone. It is light, not cold, and feels pleasant on the skin.
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Up to the age of three, you can easily choose the baby necklace with a length of 32cm. Is your child older? Then go for the amber children's necklace of 38cm. However, the length remains a personal choice as it is also a matter of taste. To see which length you like, you can cut a string to the desired length and try it on. Note: by wearing the amber jewelry, the knots between the beads may tighten slightly, causing the necklace or bracelet to become slightly larger.

The amber necklaces are handmade in Lithuania. They are designed to break for safety if too much pressure is applied. Additionally, each stone is individually knotted, which prevents stones from coming loose during a break and potentially being swallowed by your child. Super nice!
